Exfoliating Cleanser

An exfoliating cleanser is any exfoliating product that also includes some type of soap or other cleansing agent to clean your skin as well as exfoliate.

Like most soaps, scrubs, and other exfoliating products, cleansers are no different. Though less emphasis may be placed on the abrasive ingredients, they are generally used for both cleansing and exfoliation. Cleansers can help oily skin by cleaning away dirt and oils that clog pores and cause acne. Clean skin is glowing and healthy skin.

Many companies that make other exfoliating products also make cleansers, soaps, and scrubs. Mixing products is generally fine, but be sure not to use too many products that can dry out or irritate your skin at the same time. Read all directions and use caution when trying something new if you are prone to having sensitive skin.

Use all cleansers as directed, some should only be used once on a weekly basis, so be sure to read the directions to make sure you're not over-cleansing your face.
